La pompe \u00e0 air a besoin d\u2019un d\u00e9bit d\u2019air calcul\u00e9 en SCFM. Selon la quantit\u00e9 d\u2019air fourni par le compresseur et la pression d\u2019injection \u00e0 combattre, la pompe donnera un d\u00e9bit. Des courbes qui repr\u00e9sentes ces donn\u00e9es sont toujours disponible pour chaque mod\u00e8le. Ce type de pompe a besoin d\u2019un minimum de 30 PSI de diff\u00e9rentiel de pression pour bien fonctionner (entre la pression d\u2019air fourni par le compresseur et la pression d\u2019injection). Ce type de pompe a une tr\u00e8s faible rendement c\u00f4t\u00e9 d\u2019efficacit\u00e9 car plus de 80% de l\u2019air appliqu\u00e9 sur la pompe sera gaspill\u00e9 et seulement 20 % de cet air donnera un rendement r\u00e9el. Lorsque la tige centrale effectue sa course compl\u00e8te vers la droite, le pilote d\u2019air est d\u00e9clench\u00e9 et transf\u00e8re la vanne pour fournir de l\u2019air \u00e0 la chambre \u00e0 air oppos\u00e9e. La tige centrale se d\u00e9place alors vers la gauche en poussant le fluide hors de la chambre \u00e0 liquide tout en attirant davantage de fluide dans la chambre \u00e0 liquide du c\u00f4t\u00e9 droit. Le cycle continu cr\u00e9e une action de pompage. Pendant cette phase, l\u2019air qui se trouvait du c\u00f4t\u00e9 gauche est envoyer en dehors de la pompe, Cela est la phase d\u2019\u00e9chappement de l\u2019air comprim\u00e9 et on y installe un silencieux afin de r\u00e9duire le bruit.\n<BR><BR>\nDu c\u00f4t\u00e9 droit de la pompe, l\u2019air comprim\u00e9 rempli la section de droit et d\u00e9place l\u2019arbre vers la droite et le diaphragme qui est vis\u00e9 sur cet arbre. On l\u2019installe \u00e0 la sortie du refoulement de la pompe \u00e0 air \u00e0 double diaphragme et on y applique la m\u00eame pression d\u2019air que l\u2019alimentation d\u2019air de la pompe.
